The milestone event brought together key partners and construction workers on Thursday, May 16 in the Art Nouveau building. Brisen Group, in collaboration with Mandarin Oriental, celebrated the topping off of the future Mandarin Oriental Hotel and Residences in Vienna. Following a EUR 250 million restoration, the development will feature 25 luxury branded residences and 138 guest rooms, opening in Summer 2025.

Over 300 guests attended the reception, which included an introduction to the project, champagne, culinary delights, and a thank-you to the construction workers. Remarks were made by Dimitry Vallen, founder of Brisen Group, Dominik G. Reiner, General Manager at Mandarin Oriental, and Martin Goddard, the interior designer. The ceremony concluded with a pine tree lifted to the roof, symbolizing progress.

Reiner highlighted the luxury experience and the unique lifestyle offered by the new property. Martin Goddard aimed to create a beautiful, functional home, honoring the building’s heritage with unique craftsmanship and bespoke furniture.
